- Incidences of “inappropriate” photos »
We have noticed some inappropriate photos posted yesterday. We started taking some actions but our manual process was not quick enough and it made many users quite uncomfortable for a while.
Even though those pictures were posted by users, it is our responsibility to take care of those issues as quickly as possible. It is our #1 priority keep PhotoShare a safe environment for everywhere, and we will do all whatever we can do to keep it safe and friendly place.
Learning from this lesson, we have added some automated mechanism to remove those pictures immediately when reported (please click “X” icon at the bottom of the screen when you see inappropriate photos) from public places, and keep them hidden until we review them. We expect this mechanism will prevent the issues like yesterday.
