This canvas is open for everybody. Anybody with creative spirits - designers, developers, writers, bloggers, musicians, photographers, teachers, students - can participate in this Internet Renaissance.
Big Canvas will offer a series of web-based “creativity tools” that accelerate this process.

this site was so nice and fun until the trash started today. A nude trashy slut is on the favored list and another with her whole rear end showing. The longer this nasty crap is on there the more it keeps repeating. I did love this site and now it is ruined. If this trash is still on here I am deleting my account.
Sincerely,
Dawn DiCarlo

Mr. Dicarlo,
We really appreciate your feedback. Yes, it is our responsibility to take care of this kind of issue. I am sorry that it took a while to take care of those photos yesterday, because our preparation was not enough. We made some changes to the service, so that we can take care of those photos more quickly, and we are fully committed to keep PhotoShare a safe and fun environment for everybody.
Feedback like this really help us to keep focus on right issues. Thank you very much, and please continue to support us. We can’t build great service without users like you, Mr. Dicarlo.
Sincerely,
Satoshi Nakajima
President, Big Canvas Inc.

Looks like an interesting service. I have a concern about security. If I am uploading photos can I restrict who sees the photos? With the use of the geotagging I am concerned about who will see my family’s photos.

Jeff, thank you for posting a great question.
Making PhotoShare a safe and secure environment is our No.1 goal. Please notice that there is a permission setting associated with each photo (four buttons above the picture on the publishing/details page), which allows you to control who can access your photos.
* Private - Only you can access it
* Family - Only family members can access it
* Friends - Only your friends can access it
* Public - Anybody in the world can access it
If you are uploading photos of your family members, and you want to make it sure that only your family members can access them, please choose “Family” when you upload (you can change the setting later from the details page). Then, those people who you’ve explicitly invited as family members (select Family->Invite… from the main menu) can access those photos.
Regarding the geo-tag, we have explicitly chosen NOT to store those geo-tags along with those photos because of the security concern.
